Gibson Les Paul Epiphone With EMG 81/EMG 85 Pick-ups Fitted By DW Guitars

For years and years I've wanted a Gibson Les Paul Epiphone, my first guitar was an accoustic Epiphone and I still play it after buying it off a mate for £10.00 in about 1995! It's been everwhere with me including a rather soaking wet Glastonbury 1997, when the Foo Fighters played!
My '97 Gibson Les Paul Epiphone with EMG 81 and EMG 85 active pick-ups close up! I know you can grab your tissues and dab the end now... we're all done here!

After looking on ebay for a good one, I found an Ebay seller near me who was selling a rather nice condition Korean Epiphone that had been unmolested, and apparently been under someone's bed for two years not being used!

Having previously playedin a band, with a friend who had a custom Gibson Les Paul Epiphone with EMG pickups in it, I knew I had to add some upgrades myself... seeing as it needed setting up, I had the following done too:

  • Graphite saddles to increase sustain
  • Brass top nut
  • EMG 81 and 85 Pickups fitted
